We should have buried the bourbon! I mean, the groom, Brandon, comes from a long line of whiskey making men + we shot their engagement session AT the George Dickle Distillery! But the truth is, it would have taken a lot more than torrential rain to dampen the joy of this day. It. Was. Perfect. This cross country love story is what fairy tales are made of. If you’ve spent more than 60 seconds with Jessica, you know that this California girl carries the sunshine with her in her spirit + her smile. Just after they said “I Do” as they walked down the aisle as Mr + Mrs Bell, the rain stopped + we were able to get outside for some photos at that beautiful arch that first drew Jessica to this gorgeous venue.

Everything about Hannah + Dylan’s day was beautiful. They got married in the garden at the most perfect little white chapel in Adams, Tennessee with fields and rolling hills as far as the eye could see. These two are just precious and I loved them from our very first meeting. It was such a joy to watch them celebrate with their incredible parents, siblings, family + friends and to witness the first moments of their forever.

“No one else will ever know the strength of my love for you. After all, you’re the only one who knows the sound of my heart from the inside.”
Mr. & Mrs. Sanchez | Ocean Lodge
These two! The love they have for each other and their children is contagious. Their story could make the most cynical among us believe in happy endings, even if your book has its share of tough chapters. Their day was as beautiful as their smiles and it was an honor to document these two become a family of five. Joy was everywhere you looked, their amazing families were thrilled to celebrate this union. They exchanged vows and rings, not only with each other, but with their children also. I have the privilege of a very unique perspective spending the day behind the lens, and that made me fall even more in the love with this sweet couple. On our way to the beach for family photos right after the ceremony, Allison was walking slowly and Adam stopped the whole group to ask her if she wanted to take her shoes off, and if they were hurting her feet. So in that moment, in a parking garage, with their children playing on the lawn, I snapped maybe my favorite pic of the day. It typically wouldn't make the final edit in a wedding, but I just could never bring myself to delete it. It perfectly defined that moment, that day... there was a husband, who so treasured his wife that he wanted to make sure she was comfortable and there was a wife, who was overjoyed that she had a husband who noticed that those beautiful shoes must be uncomfortable. Congrats Mr. & Mrs. Sanchez. Here's to life, love, laughter and lemonade!
The Robisons | Harlinsdale Farms
If you've spent at least 10 minutes with these two, you are inspired by the love and devotion they have, not only for each other, but for their church, their God, and their community. It was a joy to spend a soggy Saturday morning with them recently at Harlinsdale Farms. Their light shines bright, even when it's raining.
