This is us! Hello Bride-to-be and Welcome! This is such an exciting time for you! I’m Allison and this is my husband Tyler and our 3 kiddos, Brady (and his wife Brooke), Oakley + Crosby! We’re so excited that you found us and because I believe that getting to know my clients is the #1 way to ensure an awesome experience, I’d love to tell you a little about us! Here are a few things you should know!
We said “I Do” in 2009. 10-3-09 (Best. Day. Ever).
We live in Nashville, Tennessee but love to travel!
We love to spend time with our family, doing anything outdoors.
We have 3 children, Brady (who is married to Brooke), Oakley + Crosby.
We have 1 granddaughter, Dolly.
Tyler is a commercial insurance agent in Nashville.
I shoot between 8-12 weddings annually.
My husband was a college football player + I was a cheerleader, so we are slightly obsessed with sports (and perhaps a tad competitive).
Our faith is a huge part of our life + family. We count our blessings daily.
I cry at weddings. Every. Time. I love my brides and am honored to watch + capture the first moment of their forever.
We love creating beautiful images but more importantly, we love serving couples on one of the greatest days of their lives!!

MY PHILOSOPHY
I’m sure your mind is racing with all that needs to be planned. It’s all very exciting but it can also be somewhat overwhelming. You’re planning the day that you’ve been anticipating your whole life and yet you only get one shot at it! By the time you get the hang of it, the planning is over! Our goal as wedding photographers is to make this one aspect of the planning process simple. Photography is more than just images, it’s a real part of your day. Not only do you deserve beautiful images, you also deserve an amazing photographic experience. When our couples feel comfortable and relaxed in front of the camera, that results in genuine, joyful images! When I think back to my wedding day, I remember amazing memories.... but most of the moments I remember really well are the instances that were captured in my pictures. They are priceless to me. Our photographer made us feel so incredibly comfortable and for the first time, I experienced what it feels like to be in front of the camera as a bride. Your wedding day is an experience from beginning to end and your photography is a huge part of that experience..... shouldn’t it be fun? and enjoyable? and natural? I think so! My goal is to not only capture memories for my clients, it’s to create an experience that they will never forget.
the Process
One way I ensure that our brides and grooms enjoy the BEST photographic experience possible is through forming a relationship with our couples. We try our best to make sure that all of our couples are the PERFECT fit for us before officially booking. A bride and groom should connect with their photographer, trust their photographer and be EXCITED about the whole process with them! After booking, I love getting to know my clients through an ENGAGEMENT SESSION that helps them warm up to the camera so that they are ready to rock and roll on the wedding day! By the time the wedding day arrives, my clients feel more like friends and that creates a safe and relaxed environment for photography! investment
This is the thing, photography is an investment. Your first decision as an engaged couple is to set priorities for your wedding planning. You have to decide what you value most. Is it the dress? The food? The Venue? As a bride AND photographer, I believe that couples should make their photography a top priority. When the wedding is over, the flowers die, the make-up wipes off, and all you have left are your memories and your wedding images. You will leave your reception with a spouse & your pictures.... that’s it! All of that planning and preparation is over in a matter of hours. That’s why I put my heart and soul into every wedding that I get the honor of photographing. Maybe I’m a little biased but photography is the only aspect of your wedding day that continues to gain value after your dress is hung back up and the wedding venue kicks you out at midnight. Your images and heirloom album will continue to be loved on for generations to come. And one day you will cozy up on the couch with your children and flip through those gorgeous images from the day that started your forever and you will be so happy that you made the investment in wedding photography. ENGAGEMENT SESSION
We always include the engagement session as a part of our Wedding Experience. We love this time with our couples! It’s a time for us to get to know each other and to get comfortable working together by being in front of our camera in a stress free environment. By the time your wedding day arrives, we'll feel more like friends and that creates a safe and relaxed environment for photography! We’ll coach you through everything so there’s never an awkward what-do-I-do-with-my-hands moment.
DIGITAL FILES
We average 50 images per hour that we’re shooting. We love delivering our client’s images quickly and easily via an online gallery. You will have the ability to print, share and download your images as much as you want. We believe in freely sharing our work because that is what we would want if we were in your shoes!
OUR SHOOTING STYLE
We love being both interactive and discreet throughout the wedding day. There will be parts of the wedding day when I will need to be in control in order to accomplish everything that needs to be done while staying on schedule. There will also be moments when you shouldn’t even know that I’m there. (The ceremony, during dances and toasts, etc.) We teach our couples how to pose, model and interact during their engagement session so they are naturals on the wedding day and don’t need quite as much instruction from us!
BOOKING
Once I have answered any questions you may have and you have decided that our Wedding Experience is exactly what your looking for on your wedding day, the next step is a booking proposal. I will create an online proposal that will walk you through the package and when you’re ready you can save your date by signing your contract and paying your deposit online. Next we’ll book your engagement session and I’ll help you create the perfect Wedding Day Timeline to make sure you get those romantic portraits you’ve been dreaming of.
